The letters and sounds in Early Worms can be introduced in any order. This is not a systematic scheme of work and there is no expectation to build on prior knowledge. You are simply raising awareness of grapheme-phoneme correspondences by linking sounds to letters.
Every letter is introduced with a poem, song and corresponding action. Click each letter of the alphabet below to play exciting interactive activities or to download our classroom resources.

Digraphs

Teachers and parents should not be restricted to just the single letters of the alphabet. When opportunities arise, feel free to discuss any part of the English alphabetic code. Try introducing these common digraphs to your children. You can find these sounds in many simple three-phoneme words.
