How does Anima Phonics work?
Simply log in and start teaching! Each day, our colourful animals and memorable poems guide children through the core skills of learning to read and beyond! Can I try it out with my class? Of course! You can explore a selection of our lessons here: Phase 2, Phase 3, Phase 4, Phase 5. Can it be used to teach Letters and Sounds? Yes! 100%. Our resources are organised by the phases of Letters and Sounds. Anima Phonics delivers the core criteria for an effective phonics teaching programme, as outlined by the Department for Education. Can I share lessons if families are self-isolating? Our lessons are perfect for any commercial screen-sharing software, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Teachers can either run live sessions or share pre-recorded videos. If you'd prefer to let your parents take the lead, create parent accounts and then start sharing our lessons and games.
